Isaac, a PhD student in the Surette lab, is investigating the role of the microbiome in Ulcerative Colitis. His research focuses on microfluidic droplet culture, molecular probes, and the lyophilization of bacterial communities. He completed his Master of Science (MSc) degree at the Ontario Veterinary College of the University of Guelph, where he specialized in Mycoplasma genetics and clinical microbiology.
