New Surette Lab Publication!

Congratulations to Hooman on his paper titled “Completion of draft bacterial genomes by long-read sequencing of synthetic genomic pools” out now in BMC Genomics!

He demonstrates a novel method using parallel Illumina and PacBio sequencing, and hybrid assembly pipeline for a cost-effective and high-throughput approach for completing high-quality bacterial genomes. Great to see the paper from this fantastic work from Hooman, Steve, and Tori!
